Welcome to our world
Fulford is a body repair and car modification centre. It was set up by me, William Fulford in 1984. I studied for four years and achieved a City and Guilds Qualification in body repairs and continue to undertake updated training today. Over time the work I have undertaken has ranged from repairing the bumps I received when Mini racing to being heavily involved in many forms of Motorsport. No matter what the project, I still enjoy seeing it through from concept to completion as much today as I did when I started out.
During the 1990s I worked very closely with the Motorsport industry, Gordon Spooner Engineering and Ford Motorsport at Boreham, helping in the manufacture of panels for the Escort Maxi Kit car which won the British F2 rally championship. In the late 90s, at the height of the Max Power modified scene, Fulford produced 4 Max Power winning vehicles in conjunction with Jamie Shaw of Carisma Automotive. Today, Fulford still works closely with Carisma to produce a wide variety of high quality, bespoke vehicles.
Fulford has an excellent reputation in the Colchester area; we are well known for our paintwork, fitting aftermarket body kits and lots more. With a small team of employees we get the job done to its best; everyone has their own department which the car goes through to make sure nothing is missed and nothing can be improved upon.
Please have a look around the rest of my website. If you have any questions, or have a potential project to discuss, please do not hesitate to contact us. We undertake a lot of bespoke work for many different customers from vending machines to F1 cars, so the only limitation is your imagination!
Will.
